What is Not Just Hip Hop?
Not Just Hip Hop (NJHH) isn’t just a dance class — it’s a movement, a family, and a home for anyone seeking connection through dance.
Founded by Arben Giga, whose 25-year journey began in Italy and then continued when he made a new life in London, NJHH was built from scratch with no shortcuts and a big focus on community. What started as a way to cover a friend’s class grew into a worldwide network, uniting dancers from London to Malaysia, Brazil to Nigeria, all through a shared love of movement and authentic connection.
Our story is about breaking labels and boundaries. We believe that dance is for everyone, and that being a good human comes before being a great dancer. Here, you’ll find open classes, immersive training programs, and a community that supports and uplifts each other — on and off the dance floor.
During the pandemic, our reach became global, proving that the NJHH spirit isn’t limited by geography. Our group chat keeps everyone connected, and our programs are designed to foster growth, confidence, and lifelong friendships.
Today, we’re over 500 strong and growing. Our vision is to keep expanding this sense of belonging and support, so that wherever you are in the world, you’ll always have a place in the NJHH family.
